Eve The First Mother

Eve was the first earthly woman and was created by the LORD God. There was no instructional manual for Eve to follow. There was no role model or life coach to mentor Eve in the care or instruction on pregnancy or child rearing.“And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.”

What Samson teaches Christian Men and Women About the Delilah’s of This World

The whole story of Samson and Delilah has more to teach us than just the characteristic of Delilah. It is not a story about love and romance it is a warning about getting involved with the enemy and thinking it is okay to embrace their life style. The story of Samson and Delilah is more about deception, greed, lust and then destruction. This lesson is for both the men and woman belonging to Christ.

Guilt by Association:

Bathsheba has many times been found guilty by association. Some say she was a little too willing to obey the order of the King. Disciplining a Child

There is a difference between discipline and punishment. Punishment usually takes the form of revenge, anger, even the withdrawing of love. Discipline is focus on changing the behavior. It is better to use discipline rather than punishment. Punishment doesn’t teach children anything except revolting against the parents.

Our faith can be compared with those who came before us. "That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perished, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom…

Sincere Faith

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1). Sincere faith can overcome the world and defeat the devil. Believers will live by sincere faith where unbelievers do not. Sincere faith works by love, is necessary in prayer and is characteristic of believers.
