Rahab had an immoral past, she was a harlot, and had a pagan background. Then her life changed and she is an example of bravery, conviction and hope for all of us who did not have a “pretty perfumed beginning” in our lives.

Then He touched their eyes and said "According to your faith let it be done to you." We need to have faith like this to know Jesus will have mercy on us in all that we do.
Bartimaeus, the blind beggar, had faith that Jesus could heal his blindness. He was persistence in his calling out to Jesus. Because Bartimaeus responded in complete faith and obedience Jesus heals Bartimaeus. This is a lesson about faith we all need to learn.
Christians fight every day to overcome enemies just like Joshua did. Once we give our lives to Jesus Christ we can gain a victory just like the children of Israel did over Jericho. We need to have faith and trust in the LORD and choose to follow Him and to serve Him all our lives. That is the only way the victory can be ours.
The Parable of the Good Samaritan is a wonderful example for all of us to follow. Jesus gives us an example of true kindness and caring for a fellow human being. The instruction from Jesus is “Go and do likewise"
