Elijah Taken up into Heaven
This ends the lesson on Elijah and his life. It is because Elijah was taken up to heaven that we have proof that death is not inevitable to the believer, and that life survives the change from earth to heaven.

Naboth’s Vineyard
Be content with what you have is illustrated by the story of Naboth’s Vineyard. Naboth had a vineyard that was seen by King Ahab, king of Samaria. Ahab pouted because Naboth would not sell his land to him. Jezebel, the wife of King Ahab was a bully. We should praise the Lord for all the blessings we receive in our lives.
Elijah at the Brook
The lessons that can be learned from the life of Elijah help us to understand what it means to be followers of the LORD. Every step we take with Jesus brings us to a closer understanding of His will and His ways for us to follow. We have to believe, trust, be obedient and have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Elijah’s Message to Ahab
Obadiah was afraid to do as Elijah had requested because he knew Ahab would have him killed if Elijah did not show up. There are times in our lives when we become afraid to do things we are ask to do by our parents or teachers. Maybe we are afraid of being hurt or laughed at. It takes trust and obedience to accomplish the task we are told to do.
