Michal was the youngest daughter of King Saul. She loved David. Michal was caught between a fierce struggle between the man she loved, David, and her father, king Saul. She was used by her father as a trap in hopes that David would be killed. David did not marry her out of love but to become the son in law of the king. Eventually that love of Michal turned to despising David.

King Saul wanted David dead! He did not care how or who killed him Saul just wanted David dead. Saul was growing desperate in his hatred of David. He even went to his son Jonathan to murder David. That was not the plan or the Will of the LORD God. David had many people helping him. One was Jonathan who warned his beloved friend of the evil intentions of his father and he also interceded before Saul on David’s behalf.
