Pharaoh asked the Egyptian Midwives to kill the male newborns by drowning them in the river once they were born. This would have been murder had the Egyptian midwives gone through with it. They feared the LORD God more than they feared the Pharaoh. What is the excuse for all the abortions that goes on in our time?
