The World of Reality verses the World of the Unseen

Consider the queen of Sheba, who needed to understand the world of reality and went to King Solomon to test the things not seen. The queen of Sheba took it on faith that the wisdom of King Solomon was what she was seeking. We take it on faith in the world of the unseen that our lives are worthy of the love of the LORD through the wisdom of Jesus Christ our Lord. Looking past the world of reality and looking into the world of the Unseen is where we will find where our faith is. All these life lessons you have gathered on your personal journey through life that you have tested and know to be of the Lord these things are in the world of the unseen and where you will rest in the loving arms of the LORD.

The unseen is considered faith. Hebrew 11:1-3 describes faith as “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” It is because of our faith we are convinced of the truth and belief in our relationship to the LORD God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. It includes the trust and even holy passion and dedication we have relating to Christ Jesus being the Messiah, and whom we obtain eternal salvation in the kingdom of the LORD God. It is faith that gives us the understanding and comprehension of the invisible realm of the spirit that holds the future fulfillment of the promises of the LORD. It is by faith we are able to venture beyond the world of the seen into the world of the unseen.

The Bible contains many texts of the unseen world. Some we have only heard about, others we have experienced and still others are not seen but believed. Many of these unseen things are the wisdom of the mystery of the LORD God, things that He ordained that is to predetermine, before the world unto our glory the things belonging to the LORD God. 1 Corinthians 2: 9-10 is a good starting point when Paul said “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.” While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. The things that are seen, discern, or through the power of actually seeing or the things we discover by use or knowing by experience are only temporary. The things that are not seen are eternal or are without end, never ceasing. (2 Corinthians 4:18).

These are the things like seeing the birth of a baby. We see it we believe it happened. This is the seen. What is unseen is the gift from the LORD God it is the depth of the birth of this baby. The miracle of life comes from the LORD God not from man, yes man and woman create the baby but the life joining and the breath giving comes from the LORD.

Far too often we tend to accept things on trust without making any attempt to finding out if it is true or not. Our faith is the ability to take a thing on trust in order to find out if it is true. It is by our faith that we are able to have that assurance of hope of everlasting life and happiness through Jesus Christ our Lord. We are able to find the truth in ourselves of an unseen LORD God, an unseen Jesus Christ, an unseen Holy Spirit, an unseen world, and an unseen life.

Before there was faith man was under the law that is anything established if that be the Mosaic Law or man’s traditions. The law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ that we might be justified by faith. This was until the faith could set us free and we no longer were under the schoolmaster. (Galatians 3:23-25). Because we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:1). There is nothing that we have or could do to justify ourselves, nothing anyone else could do or say that can improve our relationship with the LORD except through our Lord Jesus Christ. Justified faith is an unseen condition that cannot be seen or understood with the eyes or any other senses.

It was because of the death of Jesus that we are justified. We are deemed righteous so the LORD God raised Jesus from the dead and that is what made the declaration that we are justified. There is no seen proof of this there are no eyes that have witnessed this happening in your life. It is all taken on faith that we know we are justified by the blood of Jesus and that the proof of this is the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. The LORD God accepted the sacrifice that Jesus, His Only Son, made for us and Jesus Rose from the dead as our representative before the LORD God. This declares that Jesus is acknowledged and accepted by the LORD God and we are accepted and acknowledged by the LORD God in the name of the LORD Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 6:11-14).

John 17:1-26 is the prayer that Jesus spoke to His Father just before His crucifixion. These words are forever engraved deep inside my soul. The passions in which Jesus spoke them can be felt deep within the words are the unseen, yet the felt. The eyes could only see a limited degree of this passion. Jesus tells us He has manifested or made know that which had been hidden or unseen. Jesus continues to say in verse 11 that He is no longer in this world. Life has proven the faith I have in this text. I understand who Jesus is and His love for His Father in Heaven. I have tried and proven that there is a difference between the seen world of man, and the unseen world of the LORD. Understanding this give further understanding regarding 1 John 5:4-13 that declares whosoever is born of the LORD God has overcome the world and this is our victory even our faith. It is the Holy Spirit that bears witness because the Spirit is truth. There are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit: and these three are one. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. He that believes on the Son of God has the witness in himself. He has the unseen truth deep inside. Those that only hold to the world of reality and do not believe in the LORD God then he is made him a false and faithless man because he does not believe in the unseen.

All the deeper realities of life are conveyed to us by signs not by the tangible physical something we can touch. We feel the love of our parents, siblings or spouse through the signals they give us. Love is not something you can see with your eyes. It is felt with our heart and soul. There is no concrete seen thing that can be conveyed as “love” that is universally accepted for all people. Love, just like Faith, is an unseen occurrence in our life that we just know and there are no worldwide explanations that can convey it. It is out of the world of reality and it belongs to the world of the unseen.

It is these unseen things such as faith, truth and love that strengthen us. It is these unseen things that comfort us. It is the faith, the truth, and the love of our Lord Jesus Christ that shows us the light that is beyond the darkness of this world of reality and of the things we can see and feel. You can see it in the harshness of life we can touch it; we see it and we can experience it. The reality of this world is cruel. The world of the Unseen is those invisible things that give us the hope, truth, faith and even love to carry on in a world that is harsh, cruel and uncaring.

When we interpret love, faith, truth and even happiness with what our eye tells us or what we discerns this then is only the first step. When our mind examines the elements of love, faith, truth and happiness inside us then we can discover what it really means to us. Now you add to this the grace that can only come from above this is when you begin to experience peace. Only peace felt in our soul that comes from our faith in the LORD God and our Jesus our Savior.

That peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. We know whatsoever we need all we have to do is ask. We also know that whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and things are of good report, any virtue which is moral goodness or praise we are to think on these things. All these life lessons you have gathered on your personal journey through life that you have tested and know to be of the Lord these things you need to hold on to and accept the peace that has been sent by the LORD God that is just for you. (Philippians 4:6-10).
