The Miracle of the Ascension of Jesus

This is the last miracles, when Jesus was received up into heaven and now is sitting on the right hand of the LORD God. There is so much to learn from the last time Jesus spoke to us while He was on the earth. This miracle gives us proof that not only did our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Resurrected but He also Ascended up into heaven to sit on the right hand of the LORD God. We should never be ashamed to proclaim this truth of the Gospel of Christ to the world.
Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:14-20; Luke 24:45-53; Acts 1:1-11

Jesus appeared to the eleven and as they sat and dined Jesus reprimanded them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe that which they had seen Jesus after He was raised. Jesus opened their understanding that they might understand the scriptures. They are witnesses of these things that had happened to Jesus.

Jesus came and spake unto them, telling them, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Jesus instructed them to go teach all nations, into all the world, preaching the gospel to every creature.

Those that believe and is baptized shall be saved; but those that do not believe shall be damned. They should baptize them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

And these signs shall follow those that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. (Mark 16:17-18).

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Then after the Lord Jesus had spoken unto them, while He blessed them, Jesus was parted from them, and was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

What Can Be Learned From This Lesson?

This is the last miracles, when Jesus was received up into heaven and now is sitting on the right hand of the LORD God. There is so much to learn from the last time Jesus spoke to us while He was on the earth.

Have you heard your parents or the church speak about the Great Commission? The Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke tell us what the Great Commission is. Jesus instructed the disciples to go teach all nations, into all the world, preaching the gospel to every creature.

Those that believe and is baptized shall be saved; but those that do not believe shall be damned. They should baptize them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

And these signs shall follow those that believe. It is in the name of Jesus that they can cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. (Mark 16:17-18). These were left to the Disciples of Christ just before He Ascended into heaven.

Acts 1:1-11 tells us the teachings of the moral precepts given by the LORD God of all that Jesus began both to do and teach how Jesus showed Himself alive after His Resurrection. This is infallible proof that Jesus had been seen forty days after His Resurrection and He spoke of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.

This miracle gives us proof that not only did our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Resurrected but He also Ascended up into heaven to sit on the right hand of the LORD God. We should never be ashamed to proclaim this truth of the Gospel of Christ to the world.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” (Romans 1:16).
