He is Risen Praise Be To God – Easter

Easter is the day we celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for our sins and was crucified and buried because He loved His Father which is in heaven. Because of this love we are now justified by His blood and are saved from the wrath through Him. We have now received atonement because of Jesus. Now Jesus is sitting on the right hand of the LORD God and makes intercession for us. PRAISE BE TO GOD: HE IS RISEN
Matthew 28:1-20

Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came down to the sepulcher in the end of the Sabbath just as it began to dawn.
Luke 24 tells us that the women came to the sepulcher to bring spices which they had prepared for the body of Jesus. And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulcher. When they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus. They were confused and two men stood by them in shining garments: (Luke 24: 1-4).
There was a great earthquake; because the angel of the LORD descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. His face was like lightning, and his clothes white as snow.
The angel told the women, “Fear not ye: for I know that you seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall you see him: lo, I have told you.” (Matthew 28:5-7).
The women departed quickly from the sepulcher with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.
And as the women went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.
It was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles. Peter ran unto the sepulcher; and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in himself at that which was come to pass. (Luke 24:10-12).
While some of the women were going to tell the disciples some of the guards came into the city and showed unto the chief priests all the things that were done. “And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers, Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept. And if this come to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him, and secure you. So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day. (Matthew 28:11-15).
Luke 24: 13-31 recalls : There were two men who on that same day were going to a village called Emmaus, which was about threescore furlongs from Jerusalem. They were talking together when Jesus came near and went with them.
Jesus asked them what they were talking about. And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto Jesus, they were talking about Jesus of Nazareth and how the chief priests delivered him to be condemned to death and had him crucified.
Once they arrived unto the village they ask Jesus to dine with them. Jesus sat with them and he took the bread, blessed it, broke it and gave it to them. Then the men recognized it was Jesus and they knew him; and Jesus vanished out of their sigh. (Luke 24: 13-31).
Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Matthew 28:16-20).
Praise be to God Jesus Christ is risen He is risen indeed. Now Jesus is sitting on the right hand of the LORD and is at the right hand of God and makes intercession for us. (Romans 8:34)
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.” (Romans 5:8-11).
