Old Missionary Baptists Associations

The Old Missionary Baptist Associations are considered Primitivistic (the belief that less technologically dependent cultures and ways of living are inherently better than more technologically dependent ones) sects of the Baptist church. They are known by different names such as Old Time Missionary Baptist and the Old Fashioned Missionary Baptist and are within the Landmark Missionary Baptists Movement which has rejected most progressive methods of life and worship.

Independent Free Will Baptists Associations

The Independent Free Will Baptists Associations are a group of churches that all share a common history, a common name and the belief of the Arminian theology of general atonement which includes free grace and free salvation. They are a fellowship of Evangelical believers who have united to be the witness of Christ and the building of His church around the world.

The Hutterian Brethren (Hutterites)

The Hutterian Brethren or Hutterites are a religious group who had their beginning in Switzerland in the 16th century with the Reformation. The foundation of the Hutterite movement came from the conclusion of a Bible study by students from Switzerland. They established four points that became the basis of the Hutterian Brethren or Hutterites religion.

The Friends (Quakers)

The Friends (Quakers) spread their commitment of pacifism and denunciation of slavery throughout the American colonies. They were responsible for a variety of social reforms, even after the American Revolution, such as abolition, temperance, the women’s movement, education, prison reforms, the rights of the Indians as well are the freedmen’s right.
