Elisha Performs Miracles

The ministry of Elisha is based on a series of miracles. These miracles show the compassion of the LORD God toward His people. Elisha did not take the credit or glory for himself. Elisha gave the credit and glory to the LORD. This is what we also should do in our lives. Whenever we do something that we know what assisted by the LORD we need to give Him the glory and credit for helping us. Elisha also gives us…

Elisha Succeeds Elijah

Elisha was chosen to succeed Elijah by the LORD. He must have been scared when Elijah was taken up into heaven and he realized the mantle now fell on him. Just like Elisha was chosen by Elijah, and the disciples were chosen by Jesus we also are chosen to be followers of Jesus. We are being trained right now to follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ our Lord.

It can be devastating to be diagnosed with breast cancer. “When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.” This single sentence is all we know about the wife of Pontius Pilate. It speaks volumes as to her character. She was the last advocate for Jesus Christ before His crucifixion.
