The Moravian church is a historic church that originated in ancient Bohemia and Moravia, modern day Czechoslovakia. These countries converted to Christianity in the mid-ninth century. Gradually Bohemia and Moravia was taken over by the ecclesiastical jurisdiction of Rome.
