Jesus explains the parable of the tares of the field. This is another of the parables that Jesus explains to the disciples to help us, his followers how to interpret the parables.
The Parable of the Sower is one of the parables where Jesus explained the parable to the disciples. It sets precedence in how we look at the other parables then how we can have eyes that see and ears that hear.
The parable of Judge not teaches the consequences of judging or condemning others. First look at yourself and correct the flaws in your character. It is easy to find fault with others but not so easy to find fault within you.
The Parable of the New Cloth on Old Garment and the New Wine into Old Wineskins illustrates not adding new to old or destruction will occur. When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior we become a new creation. 2 Corinthians 5:17 reminds us that “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” We are the new cloth and the new wineskins.
This parable reveals the truth of the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven. It is our responsibility to prepare our hearts to seek the Word of God, to do it, to understand it and then to live it to the way our Lord Jesus Christ has directed us to live.
We have followed Joseph from being a child with dreams to being the ruler with Pharaoh over Egypt. Joseph was reunited with his brothers and now with his father. This is the beginning of the tribes of Israel and how they had to trust in the LORD God.
joseph reunion with brothers, genesis 42, ten brothers, Benjamin youngest son, great famine land of canaan, joseph governor over land of egypt, joseph recognize brothers, sold to slavery, joseph remembered dreams, fetch benjamine, simeon stayed in prison, brothers went before joseph, stealing silver gold out of house, joseph was dreamer, brother envy, Lamentation 3, Lord is good, hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord
Many bad things happened to Joseph from the time he was sold into slavery in Egypt by his brothers. All through the bad times Joseph believed and trusted in the LORD God. We can learn from Joseph and wait on the LORD for our destiny with Him.
Life is not always fair and bad things happen to good people. These are two lessons everyone needs to learn. The next few lessons will be about Joseph and the trials he went through in his life. This lesson is about being thrown in a hole and then sold into slavery.
Lying and deceiving is not an attribute that is limited to just women. Jesus warns us of deceivers and liars in Matthew 24:24. We should recognize the liars and deceivers and protect our souls against them. Hold on to the truth and do not allow anyone to penetrate it.
