Cities Of Refuge: The cities of refuge are six cities that the LORD instructed Moses to tell the children of Israel. The cities were for men to flee who had killed a man without malice or premeditation, it was when the killing was unaware. The cities was for a refuge from the avenger; that the manslayer does not die until he stand before the congregation in judgement. These six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel and for the strangers among them; that everyone that kills any person unawares may flee there. (Numbers 35:9-15).
