Eve The First Mother

Eve was the first earthly woman and was created by the LORD God. There was no instructional manual for Eve to follow. There was no role model or life coach to mentor Eve in the care or instruction on pregnancy or child rearing.“And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.”

Queen Esther

Esther, whose name was Hadassah, was a beautiful Jewish maiden who was an orphan and raised by his cousin Mordecai. She had been taken captivity from Jerusalem. Esther father and mother were dead and Mordecai took for his own daughter. Esther was the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai. The story of Esther begins the origin of the major Jewish feast day the feast of Purim.

What Samson teaches Christian Men and Women About the Delilah’s of This World

The whole story of Samson and Delilah has more to teach us than just the characteristic of Delilah. It is not a story about love and romance it is a warning about getting involved with the enemy and thinking it is okay to embrace their life style. Delilah has always been portrayed as an evil woman who was the down fall of Samson, the hero of the Israelite people. Delilah was believed to be a Philistine woman who uncovered the secret of the strength of Samson and went to the Philistine lords to reveal the secret. The story of Samson and Delilah is more about deception, greed, lust and then destruction.

The desire of the daughters of Lot to have children is understandable it does not justify incest. The daughters of Lot placed too high a priority of having children. It was their desire, their priority and their sin that…

Guilt by Association:

Bathsheba has many times been found guilty by association. Some say she was a little too willing to obey the order of the King. I would like to ask when anyone in history, let alone a woman, has ever had the choice to obey or disobey the King. We must always be aware that we can be blamed for those around us and can be found guilty by association.
